Caravan Website:

On the Kentucky Bourbon and Beyond Caravan you will experience the wonders of bourbon and beauty of central Kentucky. We begin our journey in Bowling Green touring the Corvette museum and reopened factory and a boat ride in the Lost River Cave. We’ll stop at Lincoln’s birthplace with optional stops at Lincoln’s boyhood home and the Kentucky Railway Museum.
STOP 2: In Bardstown, the Kentucky Bourbon Festival has a full range of events. We’ll visit the Cooperage, Barton, Lux, Maker’s Mark, and Limestone Distilleries with options for you to visit several other area distilleries on your own. We have planned two special events: My Old Kentucky Dinner train and a special festival event at Wickland, Home of Three Governors. This is a private festival event featuring cozy bonfires, bonded bourbons, history, music and Kentucky cuisine. Bardstown has many fine shops, historical homes and museums for your enjoyment. You will leave with a more refined bourbon palate and ready for many more tasting opportunities.
STOP 3: In the Louisville area, we’ll tour Jim Beam & Four Roses, enjoy a dinner at Forest Edge Winery. A motor coach will take us to downtown Louisville where we’ll tour the Frazier Museum and have plenty of free time to explore the Urban Bourbon Trail, shops & museums. We’ll finish the day with a tour at Old Forester. On your free day, explore Louisville and the surrounding areas. We’ll tour the Kentucky Derby Museum with a walking tour of Churchill Downs and enjoy a lunch and the races in Millionaire’s Row. Our final two events will include a day at Vine Grove Bluegrass Festival and lunch aboard the Belle of Louisville.
STOP 4: In Lexington, we’ll attend Woodsong’s “Old Time Radio Hour,” visit the Kentucky Horse Park Museum, Mary Todd Lincoln’s home, and the distillery district with a short tour of Barrel House Distillery. Other distillery tours are available. The following day includes a tour of the Toyota factory, Equus Run Vineyards and Old Friends, a retired thoroughbred farm. Experience a day of racing at Keeneland and a lunch buffet.
STOP 5: In Berea, we’ll attend a show at the Spotlight Theatre, tour and lunch at Shaker Village. You’ll have a free day to explore the Berea Artisan Village.
STOP 6: In Frankfort we’ll tour Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Rebecca Ruth Candy, Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve and Three Boys Farm Distillery (not all on the same day). We’ll have our final banquet in Versailles, KY. In addition, we’ll have caravan gatherings at the campgrounds. We look forward to you joining us.
